ASD to Mark Company’s 50 Year Anniversary with Cocktail Party During the 2022 NFDA Convention

Media, PA—This year, ASD – Answering Service for Directors, the leading call support center for funeral professionals, is celebrating the company’s 50th anniversary. To commemorate this milestone, ASD will be holding a client cocktail party during the 2022 NFDA Convention. The party will take place on Monday, October 10th from 6:30 until 8:30p at the Baltimore Museum of Industry.

ASD would like to cordially invite their clients and friends to celebrate this significant milestone with the company’s founders and staff. Over the past 50 years, the company has seen many changes and advancements, but one thing has remained consistent is the wonderful relationships enjoyed with clients. The deep connection ASD has to the funeral profession is the core to the company’s DNA.

“ASD’s growth and achievements over the past 50 years have been fueled heavily by our company’s decision to work exclusively with funeral homes. How truly fortunate we are to work in a profession that is home to so many caring people! We can’t wait to celebrate this milestone anniversary surrounded by our clients and friends who have been so crucial to our company’s success. And what better place to hold a 50th anniversary party than in a place that celebrates history?”-ASD Family-Member Owner, Kathy Kelley.

Located in an 1860s oyster cannery, the Baltimore Museum of Industry overlooks Baltimore’s historic inner harbor and celebrates the industrial history of the city. With hands-on displays and working early 20th century equipment, this waterfront museum offers a truly unique experience for all who explore it. One of the exhibits even celebrates the history of telecommunication technology, which is especially fitting given that ASD has spent the past five decades developing innovative answering service solutions.

Those attending the party will have an opportunity to explore some relics from ASD’s history including some never before seen photos and early answering service equipment. The company has several exciting surprises in store for guests and looks forward to hosting clients and friends during the largest gathering of funeral directors in the world.
