Dunder Mifflin Funeral Home? | FFFW 125
My neck of the woods has been experiencing a heatwave this week. That made me think about popsicles. Then I thought about banana pops. Lastly- frozen bananas. Thus, the quote of the day.
My friend asked me if I wanted a frozen banana. I said, ‘No, but I want a regular banana later, so… yeah.’

Dunder Mifflin Funeral Home
Everyone loves The Office. So what if instead of the gang working together selling paper, they were throwing funerals?
Here’s what I think each main character would be doing:
Dwight | Former Employee
He gave it a shot, but modern funerals are not the Shrute way. He knows it’s best to be thrown directly in the grave you were married in.
Jim | Head of Marketing
As usual, he likes being near the action without being directly IN the action. All of the psychological warfare he put Dwight through ended up being helpful for learning human behavior which is very helpful for his position.
Pam | Funeral Director
As one of the few normal people at DM with any ounce of empathy in them at all, she was the perfect fit for a funeral director role. And though she failed art school, she rocked mortuary training.
Oscar | Manager
This was a no brainer. His accounting background and general common sense made him stand-out for this position. Originally he was going to just be a consultant, but after some unfortunate events with a former employee he was brought in to tighten things up a bit.
Michael | Ex-Employee
He was the former employee previously mentioned. Though he has a giant heart, his “unusual” leadership and communication skills we’re not beloved by the families he served.
I grew up watching PBS and listening to local radio. Both of them would do these annoying fundraisers where all they did was ask for money. We don’t do that here at the FFFW. We have an amazing partnership with Homesteaders, and they keep this thing running.
But, what I will ask is for you to take a few moments and fill our annual “Deathcare Survey” for Connecting Directors.
Not only is it free, but three people will be gifted $100 Amazon cards. So, go ahead and fill it out! Thanks!
