FuneralDecisions Acquires MarketService2000 CRM

The MS2000 library of time-tested letters and marketing paths makes FuneralDecisionsCRM the most complete system available to funeral home and cemetery counselors and marketers today.

May 12th, 2023 – FuneralDecisionsCRM announces that it has acquired MarketService2000, the original funeral/cemetery specific CRM and its entire library of letters and marketing paths.  Containing over 75 letters, along with both active and passive marketing paths and refined over the course of a 35 year career by industry sales expert Rick Wesner, MS2000 was a powerful tool that was used by some of the most successful sales people in the business.

Capitalizing on the expertise and knowledge put into the Wesner Library, FuneralDecisionsCRM will be leveraging its full suite of modern capabilities (letter generation, email marketing, and texting) by allowing counselors to choose paths that are letter/postal based, email based or text based, along with any combination of those.

FuneralDecisionsCRM/MS2000 Details

  • Wesner Library of 76 templates: Print, Email, and Text Templates
  • Time-tested Marketing Paths: Active and Passive
  • Ability to customize templates and paths

“I am really excited to integrate all the years of expertise Rick has put into developing MS2000, its letters and marketing paths into FuneralDecisionsCRM.  The addition of this library makes our system the most complete CRM available to counselors today.” Says Mike Regina, CEO of Funeral Decisions. “The ability for the counselor to choose whether they send a template as an email, letter, or even text gives them unprecedented power when following up with families.”

“The Wesner Family is very happy to see Mike incorporate the best of MarketService into his Funeral DecisionsCRM.  The combination of solid marketing expertise with advanced CRM technology will provide a powerful tool for counselors and sales management.” Said Diane Wesner. “I am confident that it will be a key component to successful sales and marketing teams and the families they serve for years to come.”

FuneralDecisions will be making the complete Wesner Library and marketing paths available to their Sales Pro and Counselor Ultra systems.  Counselor Plus systems will receive a portion of the one-time letter templates that cover a variety of sales situations.
